A Short Motivational Story And English Learning

ये कहानी है दो बच्चों की जो एक गाँव में रहते थे। 
This story is about two kids who lived in a village.

उनमे से एक छ: साल का था और दूसरा दस साल का। 
One of those kids was 6 years old and the other was 10 years old. 

वो दोनों बहुत अच्छे दोस्त थे। 
They were very good friends.

दोनों हमेशा साथ साथ रहते, साथ साथ खेलते और साथ साथ खाना खाते थे। 
They always used to live, play and eat together.

एक दिन, वो दोनों गाँव से थोड़ा दूर निकल गए। 
One day, they both went a little far from their village.

और खेलते खेलते, जो बड़ा बच्चा था वो पास के एक कुँवें में गिर गया। 
And while playing, the elder kid fell into a nearby well.

और वो जोर जोर से चीखने चिल्लाने लगा, क्योंकि उसको तैरना नहीं आता था. 
And he started screaming loudly because he didn’t know how to swim. 

अब जो दूसरा छ: साल का बच्चा था, उसने आस पास देखा, पर वहां कोई नहीं था जिसको वो मदद के लिए बुला सके।
Now the other kid, who was six years old, looked around, but there was no one to help him.

फिर उसकी नज़र एक बाल्टी पर पड़ी जिस पर एक रस्सी बंधी हुई थी।
Then he saw a bucket with a rope tied to it.

उसने एक पल भी बर्बाद किये बिना उस बाल्टी को उठा कर कुँए में फेंक दिया। 
Without wasting a single moment, he picked up the bucket and threw it into the well.

वो अपने दोस्त को बोला की उस बाल्टी को मजबूती से पकड़ ले।
He told his friend to hold the bucket tightly.

उसके दोस्त ने बाल्टी को पकड़ लिया।
His friend grabbed the bucket.

अब वो छोटा बच्चा अपनी पूरी ताकत लगा कर बाल्टी को उपर की और खींचने की कोशिश करने लगा।
Now that small kid, using all his strength, tried to pull that bucket upwards. 

वो बाल्टी को अपनी पूरी जान लगा कर खींचता रहा और तब तक नहीं रुका जब तक की उसका दोस्त कुँए से बाहर नहीं आ गया।
He kept on pulling that bucket with all his strength and didn’t stop until his friend was out of the well.

दोनों बच्चे बहुत खुश हुए और एक दूसरे से गले मिलें। 
Both kids were very happy, and they hugged each other.

वो दोनों बच्चे खुश तो हुए पर उनको बहुत डर भी लग रहा था। 
Although the kids were happy, they were afraid too. 

उनको लग रहा था की वो जब गाँव वापस जायेंगे और सबको इस घटना के बारे में बताएँगे तो उनके माता पिता उनको बहुत डाटेंगे और उनकी पिटाई करेंगे। 
They felt that when they would go back to their village and tell everyone about this incident, their parents would scold and beat them.

पर मजे की बात यह है की ऐसा कुछ भी नहीं हुआ।
But the interesting thing is that nothing like this happened.

वो बच्चे जब गाँव वापस पहुंचे और उन्होंने अपने घर वालों और गाँव वालों को इस घटना के बारे में बताया तो किसी ने उन पर विश्वास नहीं किया। 
When the kids reached back to the village and told their parents and villagers about this incident, no one believed them.

क्योंकी उनको लगा एक छोटा सा बच्चा जो खुद से एक पानी की भरी हुई बाल्टी भी नहीं उठा सकता उसने कैसे एक बड़े बच्चे को अकेले  खींच कर कुँए में से बहार निकाल दिया? 
Because they felt that a small kid who couldn’t even lift up a bucket filled with water by himself, how could he pull an older kid out of the well alone?

सबको लगा की ऐसा हो ही नहीं  सकता।
Everyone thought that this was impossible.

पर उस गाँव में एक बूढ़ा और समझदार व्यक्ति भी रहता था जिसने इन बच्चों की बात पर विश्वास कर लिया। 
But in that village, there lived an old and wise man as well, who believed the incident told by these kids.

सब गाँव वाले उस बूढ़े व्यक्ति की अक्लमंदी की बहुत इज़्ज़त करते थे। 
All the villagers used to respect the intelligence of that old man a lot. 

गाँव वाले ये जानते थे की वो बूढ़ा व्यक्ति कभी झूठ नहीं बोलता।
Villagers knew that the old man never lied. 

तो गाँव वाले ने सोचा की अगर वो इस बात को सच मान रहे है तो कोई न कोई वजह जरूर होगी।
So, the villagers thought that if he believed this incident to be true, then there should be some reason for this.

इसलिए गाँव वाले उस बूढ़े आदमी के पास गए और जा कर बोले कि हमको तो कुछ समझ आ नहीं रहा।
Therefore, all the villagers went to that old man and told him that they were unable to understand anything.

अच्छा होगा की आप ही बता दो की ऐसा कैसे हो सकता है।
It’s better that you explain to us how this could have happened. 

वो बूढ़ा व्यक्ति जोर जोर से हसने लगा और बोला कि असली सवाल ये नहीं है कि ये छोटा सा बच्चा ऐसा कैसे कर पाया?
That old man started laughing loudly and said that the real question is not how the small kid could do that. 

बल्कि असली सवाल ये है की वो ऐसा क्यों कर पाया.
But rather, the real question is why he could do this.

उसके अंदर इतनी ताकत कहाँ से आयी।
From where did he get so much strength?

फिर वो बोले की इस सवाल का सिर्फ एक जवाब है कि जिस वक्त उस छोटे बच्चे ने ये किया उस समय उसके आस पास कोई नहीं था, जो उस बच्चे को ये बता सके की तुम  ये नहीं कर सकते। 
Then he said that the only answer to the question is that when the small kid did this, at that time there was no one around him who could tell him that he could not do this. 

यहाँ तक की ऐसा उसने खुद भी नहीं कहा क्योंकि उसका पूरा ध्यान इस बात पर था कि अपने दोस्त को कैसे बचाना है। 
He himself did not even say this to him, as his full attention was directed towards saving his friend.

और यही कारण है कि एक छोटा बच्चा ऐसा कर पाया। 
And that is why a small kid could do this.

The Moral of the Short Motivational Story

तो इस कहानी से हमे ये शिक्षा मिलती है की अगर हम खुद पर विश्वास रखे और दूसरों की नकारात्मक बातों को नजरअंदाज करके अपने काम को पूरी लगन से करते जाएँ तो ऐसा कुछ भी नहीं है जो आप हासिल नहीं कर सकतें।

Hence, the moral of the story is that if we trust ourselves, ignore others’ discouraging talk, and keep on doing our work with full devotion, then there is nothing in this world that you can not achieve.
